its ok...

Pros: Vintage, Modern, art deco
"We choose the pearl white paper because the website recommended it so get the "illuminating" effect. Well it wasn't that illuminating. But it looked cute and different."

Design not Illuminating

Pros: Vintage
"This is a print of what glitter would look like printed.
I should have ordered a sample of the Pearl white shimmer paper.
I was expecting was metallic ink or something that would be reflective.
The professional tip for a luminescent look is to have shimmer paper. I was hoping the lettering and design print to be shimmery...not the entire piece of paper because it should be ordered in shimmer paper to be "illuminating"

love the design

Pros: Vintage
"I looked at several different options for my wedding invitations, but kept coming back to the Lavishly Illuminated in the light gray because of the beautiful design. The other reviews didn't make it sound great, but I still wanted to give it a shot. I am having a small private wedding for family only so my order was only for 10 invitations.
I went with the light gray color, extra premium thick paper, with the "ticket" corners, lined envelopes, and outer envelopes with the return address printed on the back flap.
Like the note on the item says and like other reviews say, the lettering and design is not shiny or glittery. It is just printed in a gold matte print, but I think it looks nice. the shimmer paper would be a good option for people that like a more shiny look, but I just don't like that kind of paper and wanted a heavier card stock.
One issue... I thought I had ordered the inner envelopes with the crystal liner when I placed my order, but they weren't in the package when I got my invitations. Apparently when I switched the back flap on the outer envelope to the Euro flap versus the flat flap, it removed the inner envelopes from my order because they do not come in a Euro flap. Just watch carefully for this when placing your order.... in order to correct it and get inner envelopes, I was on the phone with customer service for over 30 minutes! I thought it would be a simple issue and quick fix, but at one point they told me it was impossible to get just the inner evelopes. I finally just ordered inner and new outer envelopes, and the inner ones are the straight or flat flap and my outer return addressed ones are Euro, which I think will be fine. This would be a bigger issue of course if I had had a bigger, more expensive order, so just be sure to double check this when you order!
Otherwise, the invites are great! The customization process was very quick and easy, and I would recommend this beautiful design!"

Pictures don't match actual product

Pros: Vintage, art deco
"Easy to personalize however I was very unhappy with the way the "glitter" appeared on the card. The names looked like they were faded but that seemed to be a feature of the "glitter." I recommend getting it in the shimmer finish."

Try without glittler

Pros: Vintage, Whimsical
"I ordered a sample of this one because I loved this design and the formatting. The paper is kind of marbled (white version), so that makes it look a little nicer than just plain white. I just wish they wouldn't try to make this look like glitter or metallic, because it doesn't look like it at all. If it used regular solid ink instead of "glitter", I think this would be even nicer!"
