Very nice, but not for me

"When I initally saw this invitation design online, I loved it right away. In my mind I had finally found the invites we'd use for our wedding.
I'm glad my fiancee encouraged me to order the sample anyway, because in person it didn't have the same appeal to me. I do love the invitation, with the yellow flowers on gray background. But I hated the response cards, which contrast with gray flowers on a yellow background. I may have been able to change this if I'd asked but in the meantime I found invitations that I loved even more, so I didn't bother asking.
I didn't find the paper to be as nice as that on the ecru paper, which is textured. I like that feel and think it seems more formal and classic.
