Inaccurate Colors
Pros: Simple Chic
"I fell in love with these cards for my save-the-dates. I ordered them in "Eggplant" and received them 4 days later, but the color was nothing compared to the colors displayed online. The "Eggplant" color I see is a purple, almost violet. I received something closer to fuschia. Wedding Paper Divas heard my concerns and acknowledged the incorrect color after I scanned what I received and sent it to them. Wedding Paper Divas immediately re-printed and sent the cards to me again, but guess what? I still got the same fuschia-not-eggplant color. I've ordered samples to compare the colors, but my re-printed save-the-dates got here faster! Maybe I'm a colorblind idiot, but beware of colors."
Response from Wedding Paper Divas:By Lily, Customer Service, February 10, 2010
We did work with this customer in an attempt to correct any possible printing errors that may have occurred with the colors of her order. However, we strongly advise against placing an order for a design based on the way a color appears online. This is because all monitors are calibrated differently and there will be variation between the way a color appears online and the way it actually prints. We recommend all customers order a sample before placing a full order to ensure happiness with the color, paper and print quality.
We were able to resolve this matter by allowing the customer to exchange her order for an alternate design that was offered in a purple which better suited her needs.
