Nice farewell brunch card
Pros: old fashioned, sunday best, warm
"We used this miniature card as our "farewell brunch" invitation the day after our wedding. It was perfect for us because it was small and fit inside its envelope inside of a larger (separately ordered) "welcome dinner" invitation envelope. We thought it was easiest and made the most sense for guests if we bundled the two invitations together in one envelope. But the two events are very distinct in mood and formality, so we didn't want to have one front/back invitation.
The card is pretty and it was consistent with the tone and setting of our brunch -- a historic inn on Sunday morning in early summer -- kind of an Easter brunch dress code and feel, and a little old-fashioned feeling.
The back of the card does not have any print on it -- it is blank white; there is only color and print on the front. This makes it a bit cheaper looking, but wasn't a concern for us since it isn't a very formal event. The colors and fonts on the front were harmonious and warm. We decided to link our names on one line for the first time in this invitation (post wedding brunch). It looked nice that way, stretching across the page and balancing the two halves.
My fiance liked this invitation, and a couple of my guests said they did also. It was right for our type of event."

"Was sooooo tiny-did not look at all what I expected-looks like it's not even real-will definately NOT recommend this company to anyone-this will be the only opportunity I have to be mom of the groom-I now have to purchase other invites-since I'm way too embarrassed to use those-when I checked the proof-I did not notice that you had changed the color-and I can barely read them-Yikes!"
